The International Register of Wellness Practitioners (IRWP) was developed to recognize those who obtain qualifications in wellness courses but could not find a register to belong to.
There are a great many practitioners that have moved across the country or around the world finding themselves with qualifications that, all of a sudden, don't fit the standard. We have all heard of very qualified physicians that are not allowed to practice medicine, just because they did not graduate from a school in the country where they now reside. The same happens for wellness practitioners.
Many qualified practitioners have no 'home' that they can say they belong to that would satisfy their clients.How many times have you been to a practitioner that has many qualifications, but does not quite fit in with certain associations or federations? Many!
Most schools are listed with federations or associations, but many very fine schools are not recognized with certain organizations .... enter the International Register of Wellness Practitioners! Here at the IRWP we have screened schools, courses, instructors and practitioners. Not everyone is eligible to be registered with us! If you graduated from a course that meets our strict standards and have been granted a certificate, diploma or degree, then you may qualify for registration with us.
The International Register of Wellness Practitioners does not grant certificates, diplomas or degrees. We do not license you to practice your modality. We will register you with our organization if you meet our standards of education. Please check with your local state or provincial regulations if you require licensing for your modality.
