The International Register of Wellness Practitioners (IRWP) is an association established in 2008, which is funded by membership fees, fundraising events and donations.
The International Register of Wellness Practitioners fosters continuing growth, quality and high standards of education and practice within the aromatherapy profession and provides on-going information about quality of aromatherapy products and services to the public. In addition, the International Register of Wellness Practitioners has set standards for certification, safety and professional conduct for its members. Our members use the legal designation RWP (Registered Practitioner) which is only available and applicable to IRWP members.
IRWP offers a directory of Professional Members to assist the public in selecting a Registered Wellness Practitioner in their geographic area.
The International Register of Wellness Practitioners is looking forward to giving Wellness Practitioners the much needed recognition they deserve. Registration is not granted to everyone.
The standards for membership and registration are closely looked at. Courses are carefully screened for content and professionalism. CEU credits are mandatory for renewal. A minimum of 2 courses per year are required to renew membership once granted.
Schools may apply to have their courses registered with us for recognition, and a link will be placed on the schools website for the purpose of students information. Schools may inquire with the IRWP on recognition with the Registry.
A list will be available to inquiring parties of schools that are acceptable for Registration as a Wellness Practitioner. If you are unsure, email or write to us for details.
